Forehead & Brow Lift

Forehead or Brow Lift ProcedureA forehead or brow lift (they are synonymous) is performed to lift and tighten the droopy and lax skin and muscles of the forehead and brow. A low position of the brow often confers a sad look. While this most frequently occurs as a result of aging, in many patients, droopy brows are hereditary and occur at a young age. Brow lifting is an excellent option for these patients as well.

There are two ways to perform a forehead or brow lift. The endoscopic approach or open approach. Each technique has its advantages and disadvantages. The patient's anatomy and needs will determine which technique is best suited for their case.

Dr. Samaha's brow lifting technique is relatively short. Local anesthesia with sedation is used. The procedure is painless and swelling is minimal. Recovery is short, less than a week.
